Elections this year
Every year elections are held for different offices. Information on candidates for this year's general elections is available through the
Guilford County Board of Elections.
Many of the same candidates for the November general elections are on the
Kids Voting Ballot
.................................................................................................................................. Where to Vote
Precincts … The Place to Vote
Kids Voting will have polls open for students this year at the county's early voting sites (except for the High Point Elections Office) as well as at the regular precincts on Election Day. The
early voting sites will operate “self serve” with printed instructions about how to vote at the Kids Voting early sites.
For a list of the 159 Guilford County voting precincts open on
Primary Election Day,
click here to see "Guilford County Voting Facilities" on the Guilford County Board of Elections website. For your convenience, the precincts are divided into three sections: Greensboro Precincts, High Point Precincts, and County Precincts . Volunteers will be at the Kids Voting sites to assist student voters except at Friends Home in Greensboro , where there will be no Kids Voting. A few small student voter precincts will also be “self serve” with printed instructions. While adults must vote at their assigned precincts, Kids Voting students are allowed to vote at a different precinct if necessary for convenience.
Once precincts are designated for the General Election, that
information will be available here.
The number of the precinct in which someone lives is printed on a registered voter's Guilford County Voter Identification Card. You can find your precinct by checking the card of someone with whom you live. If you are not sure about where you should vote or if you have other questions about any of the regular adult elections, call the Guilford County Elections office at 641-3836 in Greensboro or 845-7895 in High Point , or visit their website at
Guilford County Elections. For questions about the Kids Voting elections, contact us at 373-8773 or at info@kidsvotingguilford.org.
